Parent/Teacher Workshops

The purpose of the Parent/ Teacher workshop is to introduce parents, grandparents, teachers and caregivers to the use of sign as a means of enhancing language learning in young children.  During the course of the 90 minute workshop, you will learn:   ~Appropximately 50 signs appropriate to daily     routine and activities of children   ~How to sign 2-3 popular traditional     childrens' songs   ~How to incorporate signing into your daily     activities, including introduction and     reinforcement of signing

Handouts illustrating each sign taught during the workshop will be provided.  With advance notice, specific signs pertaining to the needs of your group can be included in your workshop.
